Courtney, thanks for the question. Yes, you could store it for a couple of days in the fridge. When re-heating it, you’ll need to add a little bit of liquid (milk) or it will be quite thick. My family loves this, and there’s rarely any left.

Comment on The Perfect Hard-Boiled Egg by Ann Boehnke https://www.8broads.com/recipe/the-perfect-hard-boiled-egg#comment-959 Mon, 02 Nov 2020 22:57:54 +0000 https://www.8broads.com/?post_type=recipe&p=5056#comment-959 I’m going to try your way. I usually put the eggs in a pan, cover with water, bring to a boil. Then Turn off stove remove from heat, let stand 12-13 minutes , then run cold water in the pan (in the sink) and add ice. Then try like heck to peal under running cold water (till you can’t feel your fingers!). Then you get lots of gouged shells, rips and torn. Maybe one or two whole ones.
I hope your way works better!

Spent my first 30 years there. Now retired and living in Costa Rica. I have my grandmother’s Moravian Sugar Cake recipe; she didn’t use eggs or potatoes in her recipe. I can still smell it baking in her oven on Front Street! Just wanted to say HI.
